We recently had the pleasure of visiting the village of Nayang in North Laos, where we encountered some of the most beautiful and unique traditional architecture in the region.
From precious wood-made structures to bamboo roof tiles, we were amazed by the craftsmanship and skill that went into making these homes. Not only did we capture some incredible images, but also heard stories about its origin. Despite being threatened by modernization and development, these traditional houses still stand strong today – However, it won’t be long until they disappear forever – so it was important for us to document this unique part of Laos’ culture before it’s gone forever.
